Tribe Dynamics maintains 36 country-specific creator databases (referred to as "Panels"), consisting of individuals, retailers, brands, and publications that are determined to be influential in that market. Posts created by the members of a given panel are used to provide data on a given brand’s performance within your Competitive Insights page.
💡 Example: How the US Panel is used to calculate brand performance
Let's say we're looking at all the posts published by all our US Panel creators across all our supported social media platforms in the month of October. Tribe Dynamics organizes these posts based on what brands are mentioned, and then we aggregate the performance of these posts to calculate brand performance.
This methodology allows us to use our country-specific panels as a proxy for each market's social media landscape, and allows us to objectively benchmark brands against each other based on the same set of creators in each market.

📝 Note: The number of creators in each panel depends on the size of the country and the creator community within that market. In smaller markets, overall brand performance (e.g., post count, total EMV) is expected to be lower because there are fewer panel-qualifying creators.
Regional (Aggregated) Panels
Regional panels combine all creators from a group of country-specific panels, ensuring that any creator included in multiple panels is counted only once. Some regional panels (e.g. Worldwide and Europe) may also include creators who are fall outside of our supported countries, but are otherwise located within the general boundaries of the region and qualify for panel membership.

All regional panels marked with a * are only visible in your Tribe Dynamics account if your account was configured to use one of these panels prior to November 6 2025. Most of these regional panels can be recreated using a combination of available country-specific panel filters.

Filtering on Creator Panel in Competitive Insights
To calculate brand performance, your Competitive Insights data must have a panel selected. The selected panel defines the pool of creators that serves as a proxy for your focus market.
By default, Competitive Insights uses the Worldwide Panel, a regional panel that includes all creators from country-specific panels, as well as additional creators who fall outside supported markets but still meet panel qualification criteria. Any creator who belongs to multiple panels is counted only once.
💡 Tip: Would you like a different country-specific panel to be used in your default view? You can select any one panel to replace the Worldwide panel by reaching out to our Support Team or contacting your Customer Success Partner.
To filter your Competitive Insights page by one or more country-specific panels, use the +Add Filters button and select Creator Panel.
From here, you'll be able to select one country to focus your reporting, or select multiple countries to create a custom region.
When you choose to Remove any existing panel filters, your Competitive Insights page will revert to the default panel selection. In most cases, this will be the Worldwide Panel.
Any panel selections will carry over when you click into a specific brand to view Brand Insights, or when you choose to build an export.
