On May 8 2025, Instagram removed support for View Views on Reels. To minimize disruption to your reporting efforts, we developed a model to estimate Video Views for this media type using our robust historical bank of Reels performance data.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Reels can be found in your Community and Campaigns pages by filtering for Social Platform is Instagram, and Media Type is any of Video.

How are Estimated Views calculated?

Our current model uses the following inputs:

  • The creator's follower count at the time the Reel was published

  • The number of likes and comments the Reel has accrued

All Reels content from May 8 2025 onwards have been enriched with estimated Views, allowing you to easily report on your Reels performance over time, and aggregate performance across video-centric platforms.
